Acer has unveiled a range of new products at its Milan showcase this week, including the first Intel vPro-compatible Core Ultra Series 3 Copilot+ PCs.

Acer took to the stage in Milan to not only celebrate 50 years of Acer, but also unveil their new Travelmate P-series lineup. New models include the TravelMate P4 14 AI, TravelMate P4 Spin 14 AI, TravelMate P2 16 AI, and TravelMate P2 14 AI business laptops, all offering Intel vPro compatibility.

Massimiliano Rossi, PBU Vice President at Acer EMEA, spoke in-depth about the last 50 years and the future of Acer, stating, “As IT and operations departments across sectors explore how AI can help their organization, Acer is committed to offering a dedicated product portfolio and leveraging our commercial expertise to accelerate AI transformation in the way that is right for them. To accomplish this, Acer’s new TravelMate Copilot+ PCs are purpose-built for AI-powered performance, streamlined productivity, and multilayered enterprise-grade security”.

To showcase the innovations Acer has made over the last half-century, Massimiliano brought the company’s first TravelMate laptop (launched in 1996) to the stage. The bulky reminder of Acer’s past offered up a 12MHz Intel 80286 CPU, 1MB of RAM, and approximately 20-40MB of storage space. By contrast, the new P4 & P2 Series will offer Intel’s new Core Ultra Series 3 processors with vPro compatibility, up to 64 GB of DDR5 SDRAM, and 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe storage.

AI and security were at the heart of Acer’s presentation, with all four of the new TravelMate models delivering AI-ready performance, including features that will “empower organizations of all sizes to unleash the full potential of AI”. Additionally, each model will also feature WiFi 7 connectivity, Thunderbolt 4, and the full Copilot+ PC experience.

Acer’s new TravelMate P4 & P2 Series Lineup

While Acer showcased more than just laptops, the new P4 & P2 series TravelMates were the star of the show. The lineup, as previously mentioned, includes four models all geared up with efficiency, security, and AI in mind.

Acer’s new P4 is the more premium option from its newly-launched lineup, equipped with a fully-aluminium chassis that is both robust and streamlined. Both the Spin and non-spin variants will also offer a 14″ IPS WQXGA display with 2880 x 1800 resolution, up to 64 GB of DDR5 SDRAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, and Copilot+ PC features.

The Spin offers extra tablet-like functionality thanks to its 360-degree touchscreen, which can be enabled by simply flipping the screen over itself. An included “garaged” stylus is a nod to the more creative users out there, perfect for taking quick notes or editing imagery.

While the TravelMate P2 Series notebooks will be the more affordable option in the range, they still offer many of the same features found in the P4 models. Both will offer Copilot+ PC features, fast charging technology (which can deliver an 80% charge in around 60 minutes), and the same Intel Core Ultra 7 and 5 processor configurations.

As you’ve probably guessed, the P2 comes in two size variants – a 16-inch model and a 14-inch model. Both sizes will feature a similar IPS-based WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display equipped with Acer ComfyView technology. Besides the option size differences, the P2 won’t benefit from the same aluminum chassis found in the P4, nor will it offer the tablet functionalities found in the Spin model.

Pricing and Availability

All four of the newly released products will launch in North America in June 2026. No pricing was unveiled at the event during the show, most likely due to the ongoing volatility in both SSD and RAM production sectors.
