Heading Out is a unique mix of racing alongside a rich plot made by Serious Sim and published by Saber Interactive. Considering that video games these days can be quite demanding, you might need to know whether your current PC can run this game or not.

In this guide, we have covered the minimum as well as recommended system requirements for Heading Out. With these, you will be able to determine whether your existing system can run the game or you need to invest in new components.

And as for GPUs, you should be able to get by with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 560 – if you’re not planning on playing at high framerates or high resolution.

Further, your PC needs to have at least 8GB RAM to run this game, which is a basic standard in a gaming PC or laptop. Along with this, Heading Out will need about 30GB of storage space.

For a better experience with Heading Out, you might want to up your processor to at least an Intel i5-12600K or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X. While 8GB RAM is the bare minimum requirement for any gaming PC, 16GB RAM will improve the performance by more than a notch.

Similarly, if you want better graphics performance, your PC needs an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super or AMD Radeon 5700 XT. Of course, you won’t have to worry about graphics performance if you have an NVIDIA RTX 30-series or RTX 40-series GPU or an AMD equivalent.

Should you get a new GPU for Heading Out?

Otherwise, you won’t have the best experience with it. To help you out, we’ve selected a few GPUs that we think are good choices for Heading Out.

To sum up, Heading Out may not be as demanding as an AAA title, but you will need a decent build to get a good gaming experience. You can get by with an entry-level or a mid-level build, as mentioned in the official minimum requirements. However, for the best experience, you might want to invest in the recommended hardware.
