- Search for ‘Threads, an Instagram app’, and proceed to download.
- Launch the Threads app, and log in using your Instagram credentials.
- Once you’ve transferred your profile, you will be able to start using Threads straight away. Even your followers will already be there waiting for you.
When searching for Threads on the Google Play Store or the App Store, you should search for ‘Threads, and Instagram app’. Alternatively, you can select Instagram as a developer and find Threads there. When searching for ‘Threads’, another app comes up with a description explicitly stating it is not affiliated with Threads by Instagram. Don’t download this one, as it is not the Threads you are looking for!
