If you have an online presence, you probably will have heard of Threads. Developed by Meta, Threads is a text-based conversation platform made as a companion app for Instagram. How do I get the Threads app UK?

One of the big pull-ins for Threads is how easy it is to start up your account straight away by linking your Instagram. Here is how to get the Threads app in the UK in a few quick steps:

  1. Open your device’s app store; it can be either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
  2. Search for ‘Threads, an Instagram app’, and proceed to download.
  3. Launch the Threads app, and log in using your Instagram credentials.
  4. Once you’ve transferred your profile, you will be able to start using Threads straight away. Even your followers will already be there waiting for you.

When searching for Threads on the Google Play Store or the App Store, you should search for ‘Threads, and Instagram app’. Alternatively, you can select Instagram as a developer and find Threads there. When searching for ‘Threads’, another app comes up with a description explicitly stating it is not affiliated with Threads by Instagram. Don’t download this one, as it is not the Threads you are looking for!
