What Is Nvidia Eye Contact AI?

Known for its Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), Nvidia has developed a top-notch broadcast software suite called Nvidia Broadcast. This Nvidia broadcast app was developed to enhance the audio and video quality of live streams, video conferences, and other content creation applications using AI and real-time processing capabilities. It offers a multitude of lighting combinations, background replacements, a virtual green screen, background blur, and much more.

The Nvidia Eye Contact AI is one of the most recent additions to this suite in the Broadcast 1.4 version. As the name gives out, the AI Eye Contact feature stimulates eye contact with the camera during live streams or virtual communications. The visual quality of the eye replacements is incredibly high, and the stability of the graphics is remarkable.

With AI Eye Contact, your eyes will retain their color and even blinks to ensure it looks natural. There’s also a disconnect feature. What this does is that if you look too far away from the camera, it will ensure a smooth transition between the stimulated and real eyes.

This feature can be handy to content creators or video conference presenters who often use teleprompters to review the script while recording videos. These professionals often have to keep going to and from looking at the script and the screen. This can sometimes lead to disengagement with the viewers. However, with AI Eye Contact, they can quickly look at the scripts while the stimulated eye can keep looking at the camera.

The feature is still in the beta version and has millions of eye colors and combinations. If you are an Nvidia Broadcast user, you can use this feature.
