This Alienware FHD gaming monitor just dropped to its best price ever on Amazon thanks to this limited-time deal. It’s now 20% off its list price and comes in at just $199.99, which is pretty appealing considering it’s a 320Hz model with a 0.5ms response time, FreeSync Premium, and boasts Alienware’s signature premium design aesthetic.

This monitor is actually pretty straightforward in many senses, as it’s really all about offering high framerate, super smooth gaming performance for those usually playing esports and competitive titles. Its smaller size is great for keeping everything looking crisp and clear at FHD, and it’s also very well suited to many competitive first-person shooters, too, where larger screens can put you at a disadvantage…well, at least that’s my excuse.

It’s also a fast IPS panel, which is very different from an OLED, for example. While it may not boast as impressive contrast or color, it does impress with its viewing angles and the bonus of not having to worry about burn-in, even during marathon gaming sessions. That being said, it does have 99% sRGB color and 400 nits of brightness, which is enough to make games look pretty vibrant.

Who’s this gaming monitor for? Well, you could probably find something cheaper and similar in terms of specs and features, but it really comes down to how big you are on Alienware. This is like a higher-end FHD gaming monitor that offers excellent performance and genuinely looks super premium. For under $200, I think you’re getting something quite special here that will really elevate your setup.

More standout features of this Alienware 320Hz gaming monitor

Anti-glare coating

Great for playing in well-lit environments or rooms with loads of light sources.

Fully adjustable stand with small footprint

Find your perfect position without the need for a new monitor arm, and preserve your desk space with a cleverly designed, smaller foot base

Built-in USB hub

You can actually connect peripherals directly to this monitor, like a mouse or keyboard, instead of straight to the PC. This helps if you’ve got a PC under your desk, for instance, and don’t want to have wires running all over place.

How good is this deal?

Amazon’s price tracking data shows that it’s been closer to $229.99 than its list price of $249.99, so it’s a relatively modest discount. That being said, with Alienware products, you really don’t see huge discounts from my years of experience writing about them, so it’s more about grabbing them when they’re at their lowest price, than saving hundreds.

As for this deal, yes, I would say it’s worth going for. I’d doubt that it would drop much further, and if it does, it’ll probably be around the key major sales events (like Black Friday). Even then, I’d say ‘maybe’ it’ll go down to $189.99…maybe. If you’re keen on it, I think now is a good time to go for it.
