What we like about this bundle
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the former world’s best processor for gaming, and it is still an excellent option for anyone looking to build a just-for-gaming device. We’ve tested this processor in our testing lab and put it through our suite of benchmark tests, which include CPU-Z, Geekbench, Cinebench R23, Puget Systems Photoshop, and more.
In the CPU-Z single- and multi-core tests, the 7800X3D delivered 643 and 7,085 points, respectively. For comparison, the 5800X3D managed 461 and 4,889 points, so the generational improvement of the 7800X3D was great. In the Puget System Photoshop benchmark, we got 8,446 points, meaning it should be able to handle the workflows of Photoshop easily.
