Table of Contents
SteelSeries comprehensive headset lineup has gotten another likable discount, thanks to a new Amazon deal. The Arctis Nova P wireless headset has dropped to $122, down from $150. The $28 (19%) saving puts the headset at its second-lowest price this year. And that’s no bad thing if you’re a PC, PlayStation, or Switch gamer. The headset is stylish, well-liked for its quality, and is easy to control.
Why we like the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5P
Cross-platform
The Arctis Nova 5P is a gaming headset that’s compatible with PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. So if you have more than one of those devices and need a gaming headset, this could be a great option. The Nova 5P even comes with a USB-C dongle, so you can quickly switch between your hardware.
Strong battery life
This headset has a good battery life, providing up to 60 hours of use before needing a full recharge. As SteelSeries points out, that’s around 8 hours a day for 7.5 days. Plus, if you need a quick charge, the headset can get 6 hours of use from a single 15-minute charge.

Excellent audio and mic
Great sound and good comms are essential for any gaming headset. The Arctis Nova 5P has both, and as owners attest, this premium headset delivers in the most important areas. That’s thanks to its ultra-detailed audio (Bluetooth or 2.4GHz) driven by neodymium magnetic drivers, and the fully retractable ClearCast 2.X mic supporting 32KHz/16Bit audio.
What to consider before you buy
The Arctis Nova P can excel if you have more than one of the compatible hardware devices it works with. It gives you a headset that can cover all of your gaming needs, although if you’re an Xbox owner, this isn’t the headset for you. As an alternative, you could look at the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5X, which is selectable from the same product page in the ‘style’ section.
