The AOC Agon Pro AG276QSG2 is an outstanding gaming monitor that features an incredible spec sheet and is tailored for competitive gaming. It sports the Pulsar technology from NVIDIA, which allows for super-smooth motion, ensuring that no details are lost and that you can track your target and connect your shots. The 27″ IPS panel drives good color accuracy, and the 360Hz refresh rate and 0.3ms response time, paired with the 1440p resolution, make it one of the best gaming monitors on the market for competitive gameplay. Score it now for only $549.99.

At 1440p, the potential performance has a very high ceiling, but even with mid-range offerings, you won’t be held back, as whatever the GPU can churn out, this gaming monitor can display. With Ambient Adaptive technology, there is a sensor on top of it that adjusts the color temperature and brightness for an optimal output. That being said, if you want to see what it is really capable of, we recommend you check out our AOC AGON Pro AG276QSG2 review, where we broke down several features like panel uniformity, gaming performance, OSD, design, etc. This will give you a better idea of what you’re paying for.

How this gaming monitor performed

When we put this gaming monitor through its paces in our testing lab, we gave it a 4/5 rating, and the summary should give you an idea of what is in store: “Overall, the AOC AGON Pro AG276QSG2 is a strong showcase for Nvidia’s Pulsar technology, bringing it together in a well-equipped gaming monitor package. With plenty of features to take advantage of, including its 360Hz refresh rate, 1440p resolution, and excellent connectivity, it delivers a fast and responsive experience where motion clarity is the main focus.”

For starters, the design and quality of this gaming monitor are excellent, with great aesthetics, as you get RGB on the back, which can paint the wall it is sitting against. The biggest selling point of this monitor, besides the super high refresh rate, is the Pulsar technology, and while monitor firmware updates are super rare, to make sure there are no hiccups, you might need to update it via the NVIDIA website and plug it in via micro USB. It is a short process, and you most likely won’t need to do it again for a long time.

Out of the box, this gaming monitor didn’t have the best color gamut coverage or volume, but after some calibration, we were able to bring it to 99.9% sRGB, 81.9% Adobe RGB, and 90.6% DCI-P3. So, out of the three, sRGB is the only one suitable for editing and content creation. The best Delta E < 2 score we got was with the low-power mode at 1.59, but with the calibration mode we were able to shave off 0.52, maintaining the 1.5 mark.

When it comes to gaming, which is its strongest aspect, with G-Sync and Pulsar enabled, the result was super fast, smooth, and responsive gameplay in CS2. At 1440p, you’ll need a powerful GPU to go above 300 FPS and experience what this gaming monitor is truly capable of; however, if native framerates aren’t really your concern, you can leverage DLSS in supported titles as well. The response time was also pretty fast, but with proper calibration, we reckon it can be lowered beyond 2.04ms. Overall, this is an exceptional gaming monitor that isn’t the strongest offering for creatives, but for hardcore and competitive gamers, it is an outstanding product.
