ASUS 480Hz QHD OLED gaming monitor sinks to its lowest price this month on Amazon
Table of Contents
This ASUS ROG Swift QHD gaming monitor is currently $100 off its list price, coming in at $699.00, which is its lowest price this month on Amazon. This is a very unique monitor, as not only is it a powerhouse for serious, competitive gaming, but it also boasts incredible OLED picture quality, making it a brilliant pick for more than just gaming.
For competitive gaming, you have a very impressive 480Hz refresh rate with an ultra-fast 0.03ms response time. This is a brilliant combination that goes one step further than your typical 360Hz monitors, allowing you to reach extremely high frame rates, which can be crucial for some esports titles and competitive games. Being an ASUS monitor, you’re also getting its ELMB technology, which works to further improve motion clarity and sharpness. This allows you to track opponents more easily, even when moving at lightning speeds.

Where it starts to become a little different from your typical extreme refresh rate monitor, which are usually IPS, is with its panel technology. This monitor is WOLED, which means you’re getting incredible contrast, bright highlights, and broad color coverage. Not only does this make whatever you’re watching look more cinematic, immersive, and lifelike, but it also unlocks creative capabilities, too. This display, in fact, has 99% DCI-P3 color and Delta E<2 accuracy. This makes it a very strong pick for video editing and other creative work. In fact, if you’re a content creator or streamer, I’d say this monitor will be very well suited.

Reason to buy this ASUS ROG Swift OLED gaming monitor
Great for esports, but with seriously impressive picture quality
These don’t always go hand-in-hand, with HDR performance often taking the hit in exchange for 400Hz-500Hz refresh rates. With this monitor you’re getting the best of both worlds, making it far more versatile for gaming in HDR, playing more graphically demanding, slower paced AAA titles, and more.
Impressive color makes it brilliant for content creators
Having 99% DCI-P3 and Delta E<2 accuracy brings it closer to a professional monitor in many respects and makes this a very strong choice for creatives. It even comes with a free 3-month Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription, which is great if you’re just getting started.
Seriously stylish design
There’s a unique translucent design on the back of this monitor, ROG lighting projection on the bottom of the stand, and the display itself is essentially bezel-less. All of these add up to a real statement piece that’ll elevate any setup to a whole new level.
