Why we liked this CPU deal
We’ve put the Ryzen 7 9700X through its paces when we reviewed it in-house. So, we are well aware of its capabilities and limitations. We’ll showcase its real-world benchmarks, but note that it was reviewed when it was limited to 65W. Soon after its release, AMD officially ramped up the TDP to 105W, which can be enabled via BIOS. So, with more power, its gaming performance and productivity should be much better.
