Corsair RTX 5070, i9-14900F gaming PC is $400 cheaper and comes with 32GB DDR5 RAM
Table of Contents
The Corsair ONE i500 went through a price tumble that landed it at $2,399.99 after a tempting 14% price cut. This is an excellent price for a prebuilt PC featuring the Intel Core i9-14900F and RTX 5070, and besides that, you’ll get liquid cooling, 32GB DDR5 RAM, and a stylish wood-themed PC case, which gives a very unique look.
This hardware puts it in the perfect spot for high FPS 1440p gaming, but the 14900F also gives it plenty of punching power to handle streaming, content creation, and more. At the foundation, you’ll find a B760 motherboard, and for connectivity, a 2.5G Ethernet port, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3 are part of the package. However, the 1000W PSU is, in my opinion, a great fit as it should allow you to easily upgrade to more powerful components.
Corsair ONE i500 Gaming PC
- RTX 5070 for great 1440p gaming and even 4K
- 14900F is a heavy-duty processor
- The connectivity options are great
- The PC case is very stylish
- The 14900F can’t be overclocked
- A minimum 2TB SSD would’ve been nice
- Liquid cooling is wasted on the 14900F and an air cooler could’ve dropped the cost even more
What we liked about this gaming PC deal
RTX 5070 is capable of a lot more than it gets credit for
When it comes to mid-range offerings from the NVIDIA 50-series lineup, the RTX 5070 Ti gets a lot of love, but we think the RTX 5070 deserves the same. It is a great card for 1440p gaming as it can handle any title on the market at this resolution and can even churn out good FPS at native 4K, depending on the title. Graphically demanding games take a hit at 4K, but DLSS 4 and MFG help deliver seamless gameplay. That being said, the productivity, comparatively, isn’t the best as the RX 9070 XT blows it out of the water, so that is something you’ll need to consider before making a decision.

The i9-14900F goes perfectly with the GPU for various use cases
The Intel Core i9-14900F is a tuned-down variant of the i9-14900K, as it has a lower base and maximum TDP of 65W and 219W, respectively, and slower clock speeds. The core and thread count are the same, so you can definitely benefit from good multi-tasking performance, but the raw output won’t be the same. This doesn’t mean that the 14900F isn’t a capable processor, as it is still part of the flagship lineup and can easily keep up with the RTX 5070 for any gaming and non-gaming workflow, such as 4K video editing, media compression, running simulations, and more. An advantage of this processor is that it is easier to keep cool than the 14900K.
Liquid cooling and 32GB DDR5 RAM ensure bulletproof stability and efficiency
A 240mm AIO cooler is mounted on top of the 14900F to keep it cool, and while it does seem like overkill considering this CPU isn’t as power hungry, the better safe than sorry approach is something we like. You can overclock it, but if you’re located in a region with high ambient temperature, this should come in clutch and guard the performance and stability of the entire system. Another great aspect is that the 32GB RAM running at 6,000 MHz is plenty fast, perfect for gaming and productivity. Modern games, applications, streaming apps, and other instances can be opened in parallel without the PC crashing down to a halt.
