Why the HP Omen 45L caught our attention

Core Ultra 9 285K

This is the flagship processor from the Arrow Lake series, and it is a high-performance, heavy-hitting offering. It boasts 24 cores and threads with a 5.7GHz boost clock speed and a 250W maximum TDP. It is designed to push heavy loads, as the new architecture does wonders for multi-core performance. It doesn’t have the best gaming performance, which put it on the back foot when it launched, but its multi-threaded output is simply amazing and is perfect for servers and workstations. We have also reviewed the Core Ultra 9 285K and recommend checking it out for a better and in-depth understanding.

RTX 5080

One of the best cards that you can get your hands on right now is the RTX 5080. It has 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM on its side and plenty of CUDA, Tensor, and RT cores based on the Blackwell architecture to push various workflows efficiently. Native 4K gaming doesn’t bother it, as it is made for much more, such as heavy creative, AI, and rendering workloads. It thrives in a professional workspace where demanding tasks are common. That being said, it is always better to see what something is capable of to get a full understanding.

We have reviewed the RTX 5080 FE, ASUS ROG RTX 5080 OC, and the ASUS RTX 5080 Noctua OC Edition in-house, and here is how they performed:

64GB DDR5 RAM and a 4TB SSD

With 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a 4TB SSD, this gaming PC offers plenty of fast memory and storage for demanding gaming, content creation, and multitasking. The 64GB DDR5 configuration provides a large pool of memory, which allows you to run AAA games, browsers, streaming software, editing apps, and other background tasks without causing a bottleneck. On the other hand, a 4TB SSD is perfect for games, apps, 4K content, and more. It will also deliver faster boot, loading, and file-transfer times, meaning minimal downtime.
