Table of Contents
We spotted the iBUYPOWER Slate Black gaming PC on sale on Amazon with a decent 6% price cut, and that knocked its asking price down to $1,406.49. What’s powering this gaming PC is the Ryzen 7 7700 and the RTX 5060, which is a solid combination, along with 32GB DDR5 RAM and more. You’ll also get a free gaming mouse and keyboard with this offer, and this adds more value, making it appealing for first-time buyers. So, we think it is certainly worth checking out, but only 18 units are left in stock.
- Great for everyday productivity
- Serious 1440p gaming potential
- Free gaming keyboard and mouse
- The RTX 5060 isn’t good for 4K gaming
- A 2TB SSD would’ve been better
What made this gaming PC stand out
Ryzen 7 7700 packs more of a punch than it lets on
This processor is almost the Ryzen 7 7700X but with a slightly slower clock speed. So, you can make up for the difference by overclocking it a bit, and it is an amazing option to have by your side. This CPU makes 4K video editing easy, can churn out high FPS at 1080p and 1440p, shortens the rendering timelines, and more. So, it can do a lot more, but doesn’t get the attention it deserves due to its big brother.
RTX 5060 makes gaming a breeze
The entry-level RTX 50-series GPU got a lot of heat due to its 8GB VRAM, but with all the features it has at its disposal, you won’t have to worry about subpar gaming performance. It can handle any title at FHD and QHD, but even if it gets into trouble, the upscaling technology can bail it out and keep your gaming session flowing smoothly. When it comes to productivity, its 8GB VRAM does hold it back, but it will still help produce great end results.

32GB DDR5 RAM bulletproofs the efficiency
One of the best aspects of this build is the 32GB of DDR5 RAM. Generally, you would’ve seen 16GB DDR5 RAM, but with double the amount, you can rest easy knowing that you have more than enough memory to handle demanding workflows. This includes 4K video editing, rendering, parallel processing, and running heavy apps side by side without the system crashing. This is amazing and certainly deserves a shoutout.
