This Hoengager gaming PC is well worth checking out right now at its current discount price. It’s $300 off, and down to $1,429.99, which I think actually makes for a pretty compelling price given what it’s bringing to the table. What you’re getting here is an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB build, with a configuration that makes a lot of sense from a price-to-performance perspective. This isn’t a PC where you’re paying a premium for DDR5 or an AM5 processor, but you’re still getting a hefty 32GB of DDR4 and an impressive Ryzen 7 5700X, which is a very strong pick for the RTX 5060 Ti’s gaming capabilities. What’s more, it has a robust 240 mm AIO cooler, which gives it plenty of thermal headroom for gaming, for more stable and quieter performance. As usual, you’ve got a 1TB SSD, which is standard operating procedure at under $1,500 in my experience, but still more than enough storage for most people.

Who is this gaming PC deal for?

Before I expand on this PC’s key features, is this PC ultimately worth considering? Well, I’d say if you’re looking for out-of-the-box, punchy FHD gaming performance, with Blackwell features, with plenty of RAM, and a CPU that’s going to be good for high FPS FHD gaming with low frame latency, this build makes a lot of sense for the price. The only slight caveat here is that its AM4 platform isn’t quite as future-facing as AM5. A deal killer? I don’t think so, especially if you want to use it as-is for years to come.

Key features of this Hoengager gaming PC

Ryzen 7 5700X processor

8 cores, 16 threads, a 4.6GHz boost clock, and a 32MB L3 cache make this CPU a very strong choice for gaming, for the price. Its L3 cache in particular stands out, as this is going to really help when playing competitive titles at very high FPS, which is one area the RTX 5060 Ti thrives in.

RTX 5060 Ti 8GB graphics card

Punchier performance than the RTX 5060, thanks to a higher CUDA core count, and it still packs faster GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores, too. Personally, I think for a relatively modest premium over your typical RTX 5060 build, you really get a lot for your money in terms of performance with this GPU.

32GB of DDR4 and 1TB storage

DDR5 may be faster, but I always think that smashing 32GB of DDR5 into an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB build seems a bit overkill, with somewhat minimal gains for a significantly larger investment. This configuration makes more sense for me, and 32GB is more than enough to help with handling asset-heavy titles, multitasking, and more. Similarly, 1TB of storage is a great starting point that keeps initial costs down and allows you to expand when you need it.

240mm AIO cooler

As mentioned, this is actually more than enough for the CPU here, and is going to help reduce strain on fan speeds even under heavy and sustained usage. It’s also not bad if you wanted to upgrade to a more powerful, higher-core-count CPU in the future, too, which would require beefier cooling for tasks like rendering and exporting, for instance.
