Table of Contents
This Skytech Azure 3 is going for $200 off its list price at Newegg right now, coming in at $1,899.99, which is not bad at all considering that its configuration is designed for more than just gaming in mind. What you’ve got here is an RTX 5070 12GB, Intel i7-14700F, and 32GB of DDR5, which brings a much more versatile offering to the table than your typical RTX 5070, Ryzen 7 X or X3D build. In terms of pricing, it’s pretty competitive, but where it wins in terms of value is that it packs a robust cooling solution in the form of a 360mm AIO and a more-than-sufficient 850W PSU, giving you decent headroom for upgrades.
Skytech Gaming Azure 3 Gaming PC, NVIDIA RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7
The only slight caveat here is that it’s an older LGA 1851 CPU, so your upgrade path isn’t quite as open as if you went for a Core Ultra 7 265K, for example, and it has a pretty standard, smaller 1TB SSD. But in essence, this is a PC that’s designed with outstanding QHD gaming performance in mind, with a CPU and RAM that unlock excellent workstation, multitasking, and creator capabilities, all for well under $2,000.

Excellent card for QHD gaming and creators
You’ve got Blackwell features like 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores,5th-gen tensor cores, and MGH, on top of a solid CUDA core count of 6,144, making it a brilliant option for QHD that can be used for 4K at a push with the right settings, too. Many of these features carry through to performance in creative applications, where tasks can benefit from GPU and AI acceleration.

Excellent all-rounder CPU
With 20 cores, 28 threads, a boost clock speed of 5.4GHz, and 33MB L3 cache, this CPU makes for a strong alternative to your typical 8-core, 16-thread Ryzen CPU found at this price point. Sure, it’s not going to deliver the level of gaming performance of a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, but it’s going to be much more adept for gaming and streaming, creative work, and productivity.
An excellent amount of RAM for modern AAA gaming, and more
With 32GB, you’re going to be getting smoother performance in asset-heavy games, like simulators and open-world titles, and also plenty of headroom for future releases, too. On top of that, RAM is especially important for complex creative tasks and can improve workflows substantially.
Things to consider before buying
This is a great PC, but if you want something more future-facing, I’d recommend looking for an Intel Core Ultra 7-265K build, or better yet an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus build. The former will be around $100 to $200 more expensive, and I think it makes the most sense for hybrid gaming and workstation usage for the price. The latter is going to be way more expensive, but give you better gaming performance than the 7-265K.
