Table of Contents
This massive LG 45″ UltraGear curved gaming monitor has hit its lowest price in months on Amazon with this limited Prime deal. If you’re a Prime member, you can now score this monitor for $899.99. Let me give you a quick run-through of what you’re getting here, so you know whether it’s for you.
First things first, it’s an OLED monitor, which means you’re getting incredible contrast, super deep blacks, vibrant color, and great brightness. Its contrast ratio, in particular, is what’s going to give everything a more cinematic and atmospheric sheen, making it ideal for more immersive gaming. It covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, which makes it a solid option for creative work, like video editing, too.
LG 45GX900A-B 45-Inch Ultragear WQHD OLED Curved Gaming Monitor
It comes in at 3440 x 1440p resolution, so you’re getting QHD picture clarity, but on a wider format. At this size, this resolution should look crisp and clear, and it’s also not so high that it requires an S-tier gaming PC to make the most of. Gaming performance is impressive here, coming in at 240Hz with a 0.03ms response time, and supported by FreeSync Premium. Combined with its aggressive 800R curvature, it really is everything you need for immersive, fast-paced, super-smooth gaming, lending itself well to anything from open-world titles to racing games, and beyond.

There are a couple of quality-of-life features here, too, such as its USB-C port with 65W PD. This is excellent if you want to connect a laptop for display and charge via a single cable. It’s also glare-free, so you don’t have to worry about distracting reflections in brighter environments.
What we like about this LG UltraGear WQHD OLED ultrawide monitor
Massive screen size and steep curve for maximum immersion
With a huge 45-inch screen and an aggressive 800R curve, this monitor is designed very much with immersion in mind.
OLED picture quality is a game-changer
It adds a level of depth and realism to anything you’re watching or playing; that’s unmatched. If you want something to showcase games at their best, then OLED is the way to go.
Sleek and streamlined design
Some older ultrawide monitors, especially those that aren’t OLED, can be quite bulky, but that’s certainly not the case with this LG UltraGear model. It even has a small base, so it doesn’t take up too much room on your desk.
Outstanding color is great for more than just gaming
With its high DCI-P3 color coverage, you can easily use this for creative work. I’d say that if you’re a gamer/ streamer who needs something to edit content, this monitor makes a lot of sense.
