What we like about this Samsung S90H 55-inch OLED TV
A very well-rounded, premium TV for the price
What’s great about this TV is that it ticks all the boxes when it comes to picture quality, gaming performance, processing power, and quality of life features, like its anti-glare coating, but without being completely overkill for most people.
Ideal size for most spaces
55 inches is surprisingly large depending on how far away you’re sitting, so this does still give you the big-screen viewing experience, but without completely dominating your chosen room. What’s more, opting for something at 55 inches means you can put your spend into picture quality and performance, rather than simply scale.
OLED is a game changer for movies
Watching movies in HDR on an OLED really makes them look far more cinematic than if you were to do the same on an LCD/LED TV, especially if the lights are down.
Auto HDR remastering and 4K upscaling are great for streaming
Quality on streaming platforms is fairly inconsistent, especially when it comes to HDR and native 4K resolution. These two features address that by making SDR and lower-resolution content look more like HDR at 4K.
