Google’s Pixel Buds Pro 2 recently hit their full $229 list price on Amazon. But there are better times to buy them, and now is one of them. A new Amazon deal has dropped the cost to one of the best prices so far, saving $60 on the ANC-enabled earbuds. That puts the deal price at $169, the best price on Amazon in three months. And it’s a much better price considering the features the Buds Pro 2 offer.

Why we’d pick the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2

Twist to adjust

Google calls the Pixel Buds Pro 2 its most comfortable buds so far. Yet they’re also built with security in mind to keep them from falling out of your ears (we’ve seen earbuds fall down drains). The twist-to-adjust mechanism helps ensure a firm fit in your ears, which is good for workouts and when you’re on the go.

ANC earbuds

Google’s Silent Seal 2.0 design keeps out up to twice as much ambient noise as before, so you can focus on your listening. User reviews overwhelmingly point to the Pixel Buds Pro 2’s active noise cancellation as a highlight. So if the feature is important for you, this deal offers even deeper value.

Gemini AI

You can access your Gemini Google AI assistant through the earbuds, allowing you to schedule events, make diary entries, take notes, and more with just your voice. Whether you have a bolt of inspiration while out and about, or you need to take a call and need to record important details, the usefulness is obvious.

What to consider before you buy

The most obvious thing to note is that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are specifically designed for Android devices. Beyond that, price and feature list are the key considerations. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 have been a little lower in cost before, but this deal still represents excellent value if you need ANC earbuds right now.
