Why we’d pick the AOC 27-inch Q27GAZDV Gaming Monitor

A classy QD OLED monitor

A QD-OLED monitor is a step up from IPS and VA, and the benefits include better blacks, improved contrast, and more vivid colors. The Q27GAZDV’s 147% sRGB and 110% DCI-P3 color coverage are proof of the visual enjoyment available, while owners love the immersive and enjoyable 1440p viewing they get while gaming.

Rapid and console-friendly

This AOC monitor is a 240Hz QHD model, supporting smooth gameplay up to 240 frames per second in high-detail 1440p. That’s a good upgrade from an entry-level 180Hz model, with a refresh rate that equals that used by Esports professionals. For console gamers, this is a good pick too since it supports an HDMI 2.1 connection alongside DisplayPort 1.4.

Fully ergonomic stand

Visual enjoyment and comfortable viewing are both important at this price. This monitor’s ergonomic stand ensures you get the second of those two elements as well as the first. In addition to being VESA-mount compatible, this gaming monitor is height, tilt, swivel, and pivot-adjustable – allowing you to find the viewing angle that best suits.

What to consider before you buy

The deal price is the best price this monitor has had to date, so if you’ve been keen on this specific model this deal is perfect. There’s a lot on offer here, and seeing the monitor closer to $300 is compelling. However, if you’re still weighing your options, checking out our best OLED monitor guide is a good move.
