Is April a good time to find gaming PC deals?
Traditionally, April isn’t usually a period with a large amount of deals – it’s not long after the major Spring and Easter sale events, and then the next major ones don’t tend to arrive until the summer deals start popping up around June time. However, the lack of big events can actually work in a savvy shopper’s favor. That’s because there’s less likely to be as many people bargain hunting – so stocks are often more plentiful. In addition, it can also mean deal prices come down further, as retailers focus on more specific deals than the broader selection they’d offer during a seasonal event.
Where are the best places to find gaming PC deals in April?
In our experience, we’d say Amazon and Best Buy are two of the best outlets to find good gaming PC deals. As big name retailers, they can afford to put their prices a bit lower due to the volumes of stock they often order. Amazon’s position is also helped by the large number of third party sellers who also use Amazon’s store front, so if you’re willing to put the effort in – or of course, leave it to our intrepid deals team – you can often find a deal you perhaps didn’t expect. Of course, there’s also specialist retailers, like Overclockers, Newegg and Scan when it comes to gaming PCs.
