What we like about this Hisense 55-inch CanvasTV
Excellent art mode functionality
You can choose from a large gallery of free works, or display your own photos and collections. And with its Hi-Matte display, teak frame, and ultra-slim wall mount, this TV looks very convincing as a framed piece of art.
144Hz refresh rate rate
This is excellent for gaming at high frame rates in 4K and for fast-paced sports with excellent motion clarity. In fact, this TV also has AI smooth motion, which can help improve motion handling even further by reducing motion blur.

Ambient light sensor for optimum picture settings
This built-in sensor can detect ambient lighting conditions so the TV can adjust its settings for the best possible picture quality.
Built-in motion sensor
A great way to save energy, this motion sensor detects when you walk into a room and makes the TV come alive, showcasing your chosen artwork, rather than being always on.
Ideal size for immersive viewing, without dominating a room
The name of the game is to blend in with these types of TVs, so at 55-inches it’s a great size for this purpose, but without being too small to take away from movie nights.
Is this TV right for you?
There are plenty of art TVs to choose from, but I’d say that this would be one of the best picks if you’re looking to keep costs down. You could go for something from Samsung or LG, but I think for pure bang for your buck, and if you don’t mind getting slightly creative with hiding wires, this is a great way to go.
