A great size for 4K and FHD resolution
27 inches is really the sweet spot for both resolutions, making 4K appear seriously crisp and clear, while not being too large to impact perceived picture clarity at FHD.
Decent color coverage
It has 95% DCI-P3 color, which is actually quite impressive for a gaming monitor at this price. At this level, it would be okay for video editing and some creative work, but just on the cusp.
Is this deal right for you?
This is one of the more affordable dual-mode resolution gaming monitors I’ve come across, and as a pure gaming display, it ticks all the right boxes and makes a lot of sense for the price.
If you want something with better HDR performance and more features for productivity and creators, I’d recommend upping your budget a bit and moving into mini-LED territory. I’d also look at features like USB-C with 65W PD, PIP/PBP modes, and KVM switches if you want something versatile for gaming, but also an excellent workstation display, too.
