Lenovo gaming laptop deal with RTX 5060 and OLED display gets even cheaper after latest price cut
Table of Contents
We came across the Lenovo Legion 5a gaming laptop at its lowest price in 30 days, and we think it is worth taking a minute out for. This gaming laptop features a 15.3″ QHD+ display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. However, what really made it stand out was the OLED panel, which drives the best visuals possible, and with an HDR 1000 True Black rating, the contrast should be out of this world. This will ensure that the graphics during gaming, movies, and creative processes are amazing and have accurate colors.
Other than that, it is powered by the combination of the Ryzen 7 250 and RTX 5060, which will keep it powering through various workflows, whether it is related to content creation, streaming, AI, and more. Another aspect that we really liked was the upgrade potential of the RAM and SSD, while the connectivity options are also excellent, with two USB-4 ports and WiFi 7. Overall, this is a very decent gaming laptop, and it can be yours for only $1,699.99 with this offer, which is a steal.
What made the Lenovo Legion 5a stand out
Ryzen 7 250 and RTX 5060 make for a great budget combo
The Lenovo Legion 5a combines the Ryzen 7 250 processor with RTX 5060, offering a strong option for gamers seeking solid performance without moving into high-end flagship models. The 8-core, 16-thread processor is capable of handling demanding applications, multitasking, and more, while the RTX 5060’s 8GB of GDDR7 memory supports rendering and visual effects. DLSS 4 allows it to punch above its weight class by leveraging AI upscaling, which can improve performance while preserving image quality. This hardware setup brings flexibility for gaming, streaming, or video editing, making it suitable for both gaming and everyday creative tasks.

Exceptional OLED display
The standout feature of this gaming laptop is the 15.3″ OLED display with QHD+ resolution (2560 x 1600), which adds more vertical space, giving it a 16:10 aspect ratio. The OLED display has deep blacks and high contrast since the diodes can turn off completely, giving you a more immersive experience when gaming in dark environments or watching movies. The 165Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 mean smooth gameplay and a large color palette to enjoy your games, photos, and content creation apart from looking sharp. Add HDR True Black 1000 to the mix, and you can enjoy up to 1000 nits of peak HDR brightness, allowing supported content to look out of this world.
Next-level RAM and SSD upgrade
The Legion 5a has nice options for upgrades, as the laptop can support as much as 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 8TB of SSD storage between two M.2 slots. Extra RAM will be very helpful while working with resource-heavy creative software programs or dealing with demanding tasks, whereas extra storage would probably be helpful if you happen to like to maintain a giant library of recent games on hand, movies, and different data.
Two USB-4 ports and WiFi 7
Connectivity is another strong point of the Legion 5a with two USB4 ports for fast data transfer and flexible connectivity options when used with compatible accessories. USB4 can transfer data at up to 40Gbps, which is great for copying large video files, connecting fast external SSDs, or attaching a suitable dock to give you more screen space and access to a wide variety of input devices. WiFi 7 brings an up-to-date wireless connectivity choice with support for a Wi-Fi 7 router, increasing the maximum possible throughput and taking advantage of the higher bandwidth of wireless signals to keep your activities moving, whether that’s updating your game, copying files, or backing up data.
