What made the Lenovo Legion Tower 5 stand out
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
This processor was the go-to option for any gaming rig, as it was the best on the market before the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and it is still a very viable option in 2026, as it can be paired with any of the best GPUs. Being a Ryzen 7 CPU, it has 8 cores and 16 threads at its disposal, with a 5GHz boost clock speed, but what really made it stand apart from the rest was its 96MB L3 cache. This cache was mounted on top of the CPU cores, and that led to voltage limitations, so this processor can’t be overclocked, but that still didn’t stop it from dominating the gaming scene. In our Ryzen 7 7800X3D review, we gave it a 4.5/5 rating as it showcased exceptional performance and even managed to pull its weight in productivity.

RTX 5070
This GPU is great for gaming and productivity, and it comes with 12GB GDDR7 VRAM, allowing it to handle game textures and data easily, ensuring that you can push 1440p in AAA titles at high and ultra settings. Features of Blackwell like DLSS and Reflex 2 drive its performance to a higher stage. What this means is that you can tune the in-game settings for better visuals and even push 4K in some scenarios. Solid RAM and SSD upgrade capacity
Besides the CPU and GPU, the RAM and SSD are vital components in a gaming PC and this offering comes with 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. However, it gives you the option to bump it up to 64GB and 4TB, respectively, adding a layer of versatility and longevity to this package.
