The Lenovo Legion Pro 5 is a top-tier gaming laptop that is ideal for professionals looking for a portable machine with solid processing power. The reason we say that is because it is powered by the Core Ultra 9 275HX and the RTX 5070 Ti, which are one of Intel’s best processors on the mobile platform and one of the best GPUs on the market, respectively. This lethal combination will equip you to take on 3D rendering, 4K video editing, and AI tasks, AI-powered apps, software development, simulations, code compilation, and more.
So, it doesn’t mess around when it comes to raw processing power, but it only gets better with the 64GB DDR5 RAM, which makes dealing with heavy workflows even better. The 16″ display gives you plenty of room with its 2560 x 1600 resolution, meaning a 16:10 aspect ratio, while the 240Hz refresh rate will ensure that your gaming, scrolling, and streaming sessions are super smooth. There is a little treat for creatives as well with the 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, but the best part is that this complete package will only cost you $3,848, which is its lowest price this month.

What made the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 stand out
Core Ultra 9 275HX is a beast
One of the best processors you could have on your hands with a mobile machine is the Core Ultra 9 275HX. This is a productivity monster, as it comes with 24 cores and threads, allowing it to push some seriously heavy weight, while the 5.4GHz boost clock speed ensures that it’ll be able to overcome any hurdle. At base, it has a 55W TDP, but when it really pushes its limits, it can consume up to 160W.

What this means is that you’ll need to be mindful of the cooling as well, but when it comes to raw performance, it should showcase dominating performance and make quick work of anything you put in its path. This includes creative, AI, physics, code-related, and other workloads.
RTX 5070 Ti holds nothing back
The RTX 5070 Ti brings 16GB GDDR7 VRAM, Blackwell architecture, and excellence to this package. What this means is that you can play any game at 1600p without worrying about the system requirements, handle heavy 4K textures, complex 3D pipelines, local AI models, and more with ease. So, the graphical computational power that this gaming laptop gets with the RTX 5070 Ti is incredible, and you won’t have any issues taking on GPU-intensive workflows.
64GB DDR5 RAM is insane
The sweet spot nowadays is 32GB DDR5 RAM, as that is great for gaming and productivity, but to get a better output for the latter, 64GB RAM is just perfect. This doesn’t really have an impact on gaming performance, but with more space to go around, more data and heavy applications can be housed without compromising the memory limit. This means that instead of breaking down the data, complete tasks can be loaded and executed in one go, resulting in solid processing.
A display that is perfect for gaming and creativity
A standout feature of this gaming laptop is the 16″ display. You’ll find 16″ screens in a lot of gaming laptops with the same QHD+ resolution that gives it a bit more screen real estate thanks to the 16:10 aspect ratio. This makes gaming and working a lot more comfortable since it isn’t cramped. Besides that, the 240Hz refresh rate at 1600p is easy for the RTX 5070 Ti to handle, and it’ll churn out high frames, meaning that the gameplay would be super smooth. That being said, it isn’t all about gaming, as the 100% DCI-P3 coverage will also allow you to create and edit content with ease, but we would highly recommend that you calibrate it before use as DCI-P3 covers more of the color space than sRGB.
