MSI’s 27-inch premium 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor is now at its all-time-low price on Amazon
Table of Contents
It’s now a great time to buy one of MSI’s finest QD-OLED 4K gaming monitors for a great price, as it’s now at its lowest price ever on Amazon. It’s now 11% off its list price and comes in at $798.01. Expensive? Yes, but this monitor brings a lot to the table and is designed to complement high-end gaming PCs capable of top-tier 4K performance.
Now the big thing here is that this is a 27-inch 4K monitor, which makes it roughly $200 cheaper than your typical 32-inch model. In short, it’s great for keeping costs down, better suited to smaller spaces, and arguably better for certain types of games, like competitive first-person shooters, for example. On the picture quality front, as mentioned, it’s QD-OLED, so you’re getting exceptional contrast and color, with good peak brightness. This is going to showcase games at their best, especially more atmospheric, cinematic AAA titles. Its refresh rate is about as high as you can get for a 4K monitor at 240Hz, and it also has a low 0.03ms response time to further reduce motion blur and ghosting.
It’s a very good example of a premium 4K OLED gaming monitor. Its high refresh rate, stunning picture quality, and very comprehensive burn-in protection suite set it apart from more budget-friendly options. It’s even cut out for non-gaming use, like video editing, thanks to its exceptional DCI-P3 color coverage and color accuracy, and genuinely useful features like USB-C 98W connectivity.

Standout features of this MSI MPG 272URX gaming monitor
QD-OLED panel for life-like picture quality
With improved color over your standard OLEDs and essentially perfect blacks, these monitors are the top dog when it comes to true-to-life visuals. Whether you’re gaming or watching films in HDR, this monitor is going to make everything look super realistic and incredibly atmospheric, especially in lower light environments.
240Hz, 0.03ms response time and FreeSync Premium Pro
The perfect storm when it comes to gaming performance. You’re getting a monitor that can reach 240Hz, with pixels that can switch color almost instantaneously, and AMD’s premium adaptive sync technology, which can greatly improve HDR performance.
USB-C 98W connection is brilliant for laptop users
With 98W charging, you can connect a laptop directly to this monitor via a single cable, which greatly reduces wire clutter. The same goes for charging various other peripherals and devices.
Extensive burn-in protection with 3 year warrenty
MSI’s OLED Care 2.0 suite is pretty impressive and combines physical heatsinks with advanced technology to prevent burn-in for years to come. Like many premium OLED monitors, this display can essentially detect ‘threats’ and adjust settings on the fly to prevent them from causing any damage. It’s one of the features that makes this a top-tier OLED.
Should you buy this monitor?
Buy if you want to keep your budget well under a thousand dollars, and don’t mind losing out on some extra screen real estate. A 32-inch model will be better suited if you’re playing more immersive titles and using it for video editing, especially as creative apps’ UI and tools take up a lot of room.
