Who is this MSI MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 monitor for?
Due to its 500Hz refresh rate, this monitor is really targeted at those who want something capable of extreme framerates in QHD, so its primarly designed with competitive gamers in mind, but also for those who want outstanding OLED picture quality, with deep inky blacks, lifelike color, and bright highlights. As far as value for money, at this price it’s roughly $100 more than your typical 360Hz QHD QD-OLED gaming monitor, which is not bad, however, I’d say that a 360Hz varient would be more than enough for most people, even with powerful QHD builds.
