Why we’d pick the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3X

Multi-platform compatibility

The Arctis Nova 3X is a capable gaming headset, and for gamers with more than one console or gaming system, it’s a compelling choice. Compatible with PC, PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, the included USB-C dongle makes it easy to switch from device to device. Plus, the headset has over 200 game audio presets available via the Arctis Companion app.

Durable and comfortable

Amazon user reviews highlight comfort as a positive part of the Arctis Nova 3X experience. That’s thanks to the headset’s adjustability, stretchy headband, and relatively light 260g (0.57 pounds) weight. It should also be durable, with a dual-hinge design allowing each earcup to move independently.

Good battery life

While there are gaming headsets with larger batteries, the up to 40-hour battery life of the Arctis Nova 3X is effectively five days of eight-hour gaming sessions (or eight days of five-hour gaming sessions). Either way, it’s good, and a 15-minute charge gets you back up to 9 hours of battery.

What to consider before you buy

The deal price for the Arctis Nova 3X isn’t the lowest it’s ever been on Amazon, as you can see above. However, it is below the average Amazon price tracked by Camelcamelcamel ($101). That makes it a good time to buy if you need a dependable brand and product for high-quality audio and clear comms across consoles or PC and console.
