This AOACE gaming PC has dropped down to just $949.99, which is an excellent price for an RTX 5060 prebuild, and it even comes with a $40 promo gift card with your purchase over at Newegg.

For under $950, this is about as affordable as you can get for an RTX 5060 gaming PC, making it a very good pick if you’re looking for something for high fps FHD gaming in mind, but well under $1,000. It features a Ryzen 7 5700X processor, 16GB of DDR4, and a 1TB SSD, so it’s more of a ‘basic’ offering, but for its new price and the added $40 gift card, we think it’s well worth checking out while it’s still this low.

What we like about this AOACE gaming PC

Ryzen 7 5700X is a smart, cost-effective pick for this build

This is an AM4 processor that boasts a large 32MB L3 cache and 4.6Ghz boost clock speed, which makes it very capable for high-framerate, low-latency gaming, which makes it pair well with the likes of the RTX 5060, which targets 1080p at high fps. The Ryzen 7 5700X also has 8 cores and 16 threads, which gives it some decent multitasking capabilities, making it a good option for streaming and moderately demanding content creation work, too.

The RTX 5060 is a quality pick for 1080p gaming for the price, and boasts new Blackwell features

This is one of the best graphics cards to go for if you’re looking to keep costs below $1,000 in a prebuild. It features 8GB of newer, faster GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen tensor cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores, courtesy of Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, giving it the edge over the competition and the previous RTX 4060. Having this card in a build under $1,000 with a decent processor like the Ryzen 7 5700X is a big win.

A decent amount of RAM for gaming

You’ve got 16GB of DDR4 in this build, which is ample for gaming, and a very effective way of keeping this PC sub-$1,000, too. While more is always more when it comes to RAM, and this isn’t DDR5 either, 16GB is still more than enough for most titles, especially if you’re limiting background application usage.

Adequate, cost-effective storage

This build has a 1TB SSD, which, if used primarily for gaming, would give you a decent amount of room for a good handful of games, without driving the price of this build too high. A little spring cleaning from time to time is all you’d need to keep this from running out of space too quickly.

How good is this deal, and is it worth it?

So, at its current price of $949.99, and with the extra $40 promotional gift card, I’d say that this lands well for an RTX 5060 deal, and is certainly one of the most affordable options you can get.

In terms of RTX 5060 pricing, from my experience, $950 is about as low as it gets, with the occasional prebuild dipping a bit more from time to time. If you’re looking for an RTX 5060 gaming PC for well under $1,000, this is a good option to go for if you’re not too fussed about having an AM5 processor or DDR5 RAM, both of which will enhance performance in-game and in general.

This price is low for an RTX 5060 build, but not entirely uncommon, however. Personally, I’ve always found very affordable options from Yeyian on Newegg, which I’d recommend looking at if you’re still shortlisting.

This Yeyian RTX 5060 gaming PC has an Intel Core i5-14400F and 16GB DDR5, and is on sale for the same price, and worth a look.
