Newegg deal knocks $200 off impressive RTX 5070 Ti, 7 7800X3D gaming PC
Table of Contents
This Stormcraft gaming PC is now even more appealing, as it now has a solid $200 discount that’s dropped it to $2,399.99 at Newegg. Now this is a fantastic build for those who want a PC primarily for gaming, instead of something that’s geared more towards multitasking and creative work.
The GPU here is the RTX 5070 Ti, which is one of the best graphics cards you can get for 1440p gaming, with solid 4K capabilities and modern Blackwell features. Where this build gets very interesting is its choice of CPU: the older Ryzen 7 7800X3D. This CPU, as I’m sure you know, was once the king of gaming processors. Even with more recent iterations, like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Ryzen 7 9850X3D, the 7 7800X3D is still a powerhouse for high-framerate, low-latency gaming. This is largely thanks to its massive 96MB L3 cache, which makes it a preferred choice for competitive gaming in FHD, too.

Keeping this CPU working at its best is a large 360mm AIO liquid cooler, which provides plenty of thermal headroom. While it is slightly overkill for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D itself, it’s a good option if you want to maintain boost performance and reduce operational noise, too. It also lends itself well to future upgrades, should you wish to work up the ranks of the X3D models.

This build has 32GB of DDR5, which offers clear advantages over 16GB configurations, and a modest 1TB SSD is more than enough for a decent gaming library without driving the price sky-high. The PSU here is a robust 850W, which gives some wiggle room for future upgrades and ensures this machine gets ample and steady power efficiently.
