Table of Contents
This excellent MSI Stealth 16 AI laptop is now $220 off at Newegg, and at its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg. Originally, $1,849.00, you can now bag this laptop for just $1,629.00, which is a great price considering what it brings to the table. You’ve got one of the best graphics cards, the RTX 5060 mobile, and a powerful, high-core-count Intel Core Ultra 7-255H processor, and whopping 32GB of DDR5 RAM for speedy gaming performance, multitasking, and content creation. On top of that, it packs an OLED QHD+ display, which not only boasts an impressive VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification, but also has a very high 240Hz refresh rate, too. But the big thing here is its portability, with a streamlined design, massive battery life, and unique features designed to give you top-tier performance, without being tethered to your desk. It’s a more premium price point for an RTX 5060 laptop, but in our eyes, it’s a seriously good value with this current discount.

Who’s this MSI Stealth 16 AI gaming laptop for?
First off, the MSI Stealth lineup is basically designed to be ultra portable, but for those who want punchy gaming and content creation performance. Due to its more slimline and lightweight design, if you’re someone planning on using this laptop primarily away from your desk, it’s ideal. It even has a 99.9Whr battery capacity, so you can use this for extended periods of time, and you can switch between discrete graphics mode or MSHybrid graphics mode, depending on whether you’re prioritizing efficiency for everyday tasks or performance for gaming sessions.
In terms of performance, you’ve got the impressive RTX 5060 mobile and Intel Core Ultra 7-255H, with 32GB of DDR5. Now this is a setup that’s great for 1080p gaming and provides capable 1440p performance, too, especially if you’re using DLSS and MFG to boost perceived framerates. The CPU is highly efficient and boasts 16 cores, a 5.1GHz boost clock speed, and a 13 TOPS NPU. This is a very good processor for gaming, but also very adept at multitasking and handling content creation and productivity workflows.

The screen is one of the standout features here, as it’s OLED and 2560 x 1600, or WQXGA. When it comes to picture quality, this OLED screen is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certified, which means you’re getting seriously impressive color, contrast, and peak brightness, which is going to make games look incredibly lifelike, but also has a host of benefits from a content creation standpoint. Notably, it has 100% DCI-P3 color, which means that if you’re a video editor, you’re going to be able to operate in the same color space as the modern film industry. On the gaming side, it’s also impressive, coming in at 240Hz, allowing for very high fps gaming on the go.
Things to consider
This is a laptop that’s designed with gaming, portability, and professional work in mind, and it carries a more premium price tag than your typical RTX 5060 models. If you’re after something for purely gaming on the go, and don’t mind a bit of extra bulk, I’d recommend opting for something with a FHD+ display instead, as these will arguably be better bang for your buck. I’d say the MSI Cyborg lineup is a good place to start, with RTX 5060 options like this one, which is currently backordered at Newegg, mind you, coming in at under $1,400.
