This high-end Stormcraft Falcon gaming PC is now $250 off at Newegg, reduced from $2,099.99 to $1,849.99, and at its best price in 30-days, too. This prebuild is a bit more premium than your typical $1,500 to $1,600 RTX 5070 build, not just because of its impressive cooling, Dual Chamber PC case, and 32GB of DDR5, but because it opts for one of the best gaming CPUs around, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. This processor is designed to maximize fps and reduce frame latency, and is ideal for anyone who wants to get some of the best performance out of the RTX 5070, without completely breaking the bank. Considering this PC comes with keyboard and mouse, too, it’s a pretty epic deal and well worth considering while it’s still reduced.

Key features of this Stormcraft Falcon RTX 5070 gaming PC

Ryzen 7 78003D processor

The Ryzen 7 78003D is one of the very best gaming CPUs you can get, especially if you’re looking for top-tier performance, but without the price tag of more recently released X3D models, like the 7 9800X3D, for example. The big thing here is its massive 3D V-cache, which is stacked on top of the cores, allowing for very quick access to data. This results in much smoother, higher fps gaming play with minimal frame latency. Its boost clock speed is 5GHz, which is not only good for high fps gaming but also excellent for content creation tasks, like video editing, 3D modeling, and photo editing. When it comes to multitasking, this processor has 8 cores and 16 threads, which is a well-balanced offering that’s ideal for streaming, while running background applications like Discord, for example. RTX 5070 graphics card

This would be one of the best graphics cards you can get for a mid-range price point, if you’re after quality 1440p performance, and all the latest features brought forward by Nvidia’s new 50-series. It’s a much punchier offering than the more affordable RTX 5060 Ti, boasting 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM and a high CUDA core count of 6,144, which makes it more adept at handling higher resolutions and textures, in addition to being faster at rendering in applications like Blender, for example. In terms of ray tracing, you’ve got 4th-gen RT cores, which are much faster than the previous-gen, and you’ve also got 5th-gen tensor cores, which power everything from MFG upscaling to accelerating rendering of 3D scenes. Overall, it’s a brilliant card for the price, and a real powerhouse for 1440p gaming for the price. Read our full review for a deeper dive.

RAM and storage

First off, you’ve got a 1TB SSD, which is pretty standard in most RTX 5070 builds, and fine for most people, if you don’t mind clearing a bit of room now and again. The big win here is its 32GB of DDR5. This is going to help with running games that eat up a lot of RAM as standard, like Cyberpunk 2077 or Star Citizen, for example, and reduce stuttering. And for content creation, it’ll make for faster export times and allow you to work on more complex, larger files without everything grinding to a halt.

Things to consider

So, this is actually the same price as this RX 9070 XT prebuild I saw earlier on Newegg, so I’d absolutely say that this is worth considering if you’re interested in excellent 1440p and 4K performance, and don’t mind losing out on the X3D processor and some of the more advanced features of Nvidia’s 50-series. It’s worth noting that it packs an Intel i7-14700F, which is a pretty epic processor for gaming and content creation, as it packs a massive core and thread count. I’d say both PCs are very strong options to go for, but they’re not the only epic offers we’ve seen flying in recently, so check out our top gaming PC deals below to see what else is out there.
