This motherboard was released late 2024 and marks a line of Z890 motherboard designed with the very latest Intel processors in mind. These would be the Intel Core 200 processors that were met with mixed reviews, but certainly pack a punch in some departments.
Motherboards like this are for those who want to future proof their setups, as they give you everything you need to access the very latest technology, components, and connectivity. With this motherboard you’ll find everything from DDR5 compatibility, WiFI 7, and PCIe 5.0. You’ve also got a host of features designed to optimize and overclock performance.
In our review, we were very impressed with its performance, but even more so with its cooling. In particular, we loved that it features huge heatsinks across the board. It’s also very easy to use thanks to EZ release features, in addition to troubleshooting features to help you fix any issues.
Of course, it is expensive, and overkill for anyone less than an enthusiast. That’s especially so as it only works with the very top Intel CPUs. Purchasing this is definitely an investment, and one for those looking to get the absolute best performance possible.
Overall, it’s an excellent motherboard which earned 4.5 stars in our review, and one we’d recommend going for. The deal may not be enormous, but it definitely helps keep costs down on what will likely be an expensive build.
