Table of Contents
This MSI QD-OLED gaming monitor is now down to its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg at just $399.99.
For a QD-OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate from one of the top brands in the space, that’s an outstanding price, making this deal a brilliant opportunity to level up your setup for way less than you’d think.
This is the type of monitor that will pair very well with a wide range of 1440p gaming PC builds, and it’s ideal for those looking for something for high refresh rate, extremely low motion blur gaming, and for something that will showcase more graphically impressive titles at their very best.

What we like about this MSI 27-inch gaming monitor
QD-OLED for a great price
At its current price, this is one of the most affordable QD-OLED monitors I’ve come across. What you’re getting is something that can produce super inky blacks, excellent color, and bright highlights, all of which showcase your games at their very best.
Ideal resolution to size ratio
Coming in at 26.5 inches, its WQHD resolution will look crisp and clear without the added expense of 4K, or a 4K-ready PC for that matter. It’s a smart pick from a pricing perspective, too, and even more so with this current deal.
FreeSync Premium is a win for competitive gaming
This monitor features the middle-tier of FreeSync, which provides all the anti-screen tearing benefits of the base level, but introduces low framerate compensation, to help keep gameplay smooth and fluid even when framerates dip below the monitor’s bottom level refresh rate. For fast-paced and competitive gaming, this is a big win.
Advanced burn-in protection suite
MSI’s OLED Care 2.0 is one of the most extensive burn-in protection suites out here, and can essentially ‘get ahead’ of potential burn-in causes before they cause any damage. You’ve also got a 3-year warranty with this monitor, too, for added peace of mind.
Very high refresh rate and impressively low motion blur
You’ve got a 240Hz refresh rate with a very low 0.03ms response time, which allows you to game at up to 240fps with incredibly low motion blur and ghosting. It’s actually VESA ClearMR 13000 certified, which means its motion blur is notably very low compared to non-certified monitors.
Should you get this deal?
For the price, this is pretty much as good as you’re going to get with a QD-OLED monitor, and I’d say it’s a great shout for a wide range of different gaming setups, all the way up to very high-end 1440p builds.
If you’re looking for something a bit more premium, I’d suggest checking out 360Hz, QHD QD-OLED options, which tend to be around $600 on average when discounted. Check out our top gaming monitor deals below, as we do tend to see these types of monitors on sale a fair bit.
