What we like about this Hisense S7 CanvasTV
Art Mode
The defining feature is Art Mode, which turns the CanvasTV into a digital display for artwork whenever you aren’t using it as a conventional television. Hisense provides access to more than 1,000 complimentary curated works, covering different artistic styles and periods. You can change collections depending on the room or mood instead of displaying the same picture all the time.

Then best part is that you aren’t restricted to Hisense’s artwork. Your own photographs and collections can be displayed, allowing the TV to function more like a large digital photo frame.
Good physical design
The physical design complements the artwork. A teak frame is included, giving the edges of the television an appearance closer to framed artwork. Being included is important because competing art-style TVs sometimes require separate frame accessories to achieve their intended look.
Hisense also includes an UltraSlim wall mount designed to position the television close to the wall. This reduces the gap normally visible behind a wall-mounted TV and makes the CanvasTV look more natural alongside actual framed artwork.
The matte screen serves two purposes
The Hi-Matte display is important for both Art Mode and regular viewing. Its anti-glare treatment reduces reflections from windows, lamps, and other light sources.
When artwork is displayed, fewer reflections can help the screen resemble a physical print rather than a glossy electronic panel. When you’re watching movies or TV during the day, the same treatment helps prevent bright objects in the room from becoming distracting reflections.
Stunning picture quality
Picture quality is handled by a 4K Hi-QLED panel. The 3840 x 2160 resolution provides plenty of detail for movies, shows, photos, and artwork, while Quantum Dot-based color technology is designed to reproduce a broad and vibrant range of colors.Â
Who is this Hisense 50-inch S7 CanvasTV for?
The Hisense S7 CanvasTV makes the most sense if you want a TV that complements your room instead of dominating it when switched off. Art Mode, more than 1,000 included artworks, the teak frame, matte screen, and flush-style wall mount all work toward that goal, and importantly, both the frame and mount are included. It’s still properly equipped for everyday entertainment. You get 4K Hi-QLED color, Dolby Vision HDR, automatic ambient-light adjustment, Google TV, and a 2.0.2-channel sound system.
