The microphone is noise-rejecting, meaning only what you’re saying should reach the other party, ensuring crystal-clear comms in high-intensity firefights. It is also retractable, meaning if you’re not using it, you can move it out of the way for a cleaner look and feel. Mic EQ allows you to set how you sound, if you want to have a deeper or a helium-like voice, you can do it, perfect for casual fun and gaming.
A 15-minute charge gives it 6 hours of battery life, while a full charge should last you 50 hours, which is amazing. The customization options are amazing, as with the companion app, you can adjust the parameters depending on the title you’re playing. Sonar software provides over 200 pro EQ presets while giving you the option to create your own, and also allows you to mix sound exactly how you want to hear.
This makes it a good option for sound mixing and editing as well. The build quality is robust, as is expected from SteelSeries offerings, with good headband adjustability and on-ear controls for quick adjustments. So, while these might be expensive headsets, everything that they bring to the table should make them well worth the price tag.
