Powerful Zotac RTX 5080 gaming PC with Ryzen 7 9800X3D spotted with hefty discount at Newegg
Table of Contents
If you’re looking for a PC that’s a powerhouse for 4K gaming, then this discounted Zotac MEK prebuild is well worth checking out. It’s currently at its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg, with a significant $400 discount, bringing its price down to $2,999.99. That’s a bit more towards the upper end of what you’d pay for an RTX 5080 prebuild, but it does make sense given what it brings to the table.
Zotac MEK AI-Enhanced Gaming PC, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080
Alongside its impressive RTX 5080 graphics card, which boasts newer Blackwell features and 16GB of GDDR7, it has one of the best gaming CPUs on the market, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. This CPU is designed with gaming in mind and features a huge L3 cache that effectively allows you to game at very high frame rates with very minimal latency. Combined with its massive 32GB of DDR5, you’ve essentially got a machine that’s ideal for 4K AAA gaming and a very powerful option for QHD competitive gaming, too. What’s more, its 2TB SSD also gives you ample room for a large gaming collection, which is more needed than ever with modern games easily hitting 100GB or more nowadays.
Read on for a closer look at this PC’s key features, but if you’re short on time, I’d say that if you’re after something higher-end for 4K gaming, with excellent build quality, and stunning aesthetics, then now would be a great time to go for this while it’s still reduced.

What we like about this Zotac MEK AI-enhanced gaming PC
A strong foundation for upgrades
You’ve got an AM5 processor, an 850W 80+ Gold-rated PSU, a robust AIO cooling system, and a roomy PC case, which make it a solid foundation to upgrade further on.
Excellent for more than just gaming
While the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is marketed as a gaming CPU, it still boasts impressive multitasking performance, which complements the RTX 5080’s powerful workstation capabilities. The RTX 5080 is a powerhouse for tasks like 3D rendering and editing, graphic design, and video editing, and this combo is also a winner for streamers and content creators, too.
Stylish and premium design
This PC is unique in its design and makes for a good alternative to some of your typical Skytech, iBuyPower, or CyberpowerPC builds you tend to see at this price point. I’m a big fan of how this PC looks, especially with its tempered glass panels, subtle but eye-catching RGB, and LED case display.
Things to consider before buying
If I were looking to buy this PC, the only real consideration I’d make is whether I could find something for slightly cheaper, if I were looking to save around $100 more. My first point of call would probably be Skytech, potentially something from the King 95 lineup, as they have very powerful cooling systems and look fantastic, too. I’d also check out Stormcraft and Andromeda Insights builds, as these, from my experience, tend to be some of the most affordable RTX 5080 options to go for, but still offer a good foundation to build on.
