Premium Alienware QD-OLED ultrawide gaming monitor sees decent discount with Amazon deal
Table of Contents
Finally, for the first time since early July, this Alienware 34-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor has had a significant price drop. It’s currently 19% off its list price, coming in at $649.99, which, for a premium ultrawide like this, is pretty good, in all honesty.
So what are you getting for your money here? Well, first off, you’re getting QD-OLED picture quality, which means super-deep blacks, outstanding contrast, color, and bright highlights, all of which make games and content look more lifelike and cinematic. It’s also 3440 x 1440p on a 21:9 aspect ratio. That means more horizontal space and a wider field of view when gaming, but still with high pixel density. For gaming specifically, it features a 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time, and FreeSync Premium Pro adaptive sync technology. This is basically the perfect storm for high-framerate, super-smooth gaming, especially in HDR thanks to Premium Pro.
Alienware 34 240Hz QD-OLED Curved Gaming Monitor
This monitor also boasts the instantly recognizable, premium, futuristic design aesthetic Alienware has become so well known for. What’s great to see here is that there’s a touch of customisable aRGB lighting and, as expected, the stand is fully ergonomic, so you can find the ideal position for you.

So who’s this monitor for, and what type of setup? I’d say that if you’ve got something like an RTX 5070 Ti or similar and want a premium monitor for immersive HDR gaming and video editing. and general productivity, this would be a good way to go. From a purely aesthetic view, it would also genuinely look stunning in any setup, but of course pair very well with other Alienware peripherals.
More standout features of this Alienware 34-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor
99.3% DCI-P3 color
This is very good as it’s going to make colors look more lifelike and accurate, but it’s especially useful for creatives who need to make accurate edits. Video editors, in particular, will benefit from this.
USB-C with 15W PD
This is a genuinely useful feature for charging phones and peripherals directly from the monitor itself, and cutting down on cable clutter.
1800R curve
A subtle curvature adds a level of immersion, and arguably even some eye comfort, without being so aggressive that it becomes impractical for non-gaming usage.
Anti-reflective coating
Great for getting rid of distracting glare, especially when using this in well-lit rooms.
PBP and PIP mode
You can basically connect this monitor to two different sources and view each on either side by side or one inside the other. This makes a lot of sense if you have a gaming PC and laptop setup.
How good is this deal?
Meaningful discounts on Alienware products can be quite rare, so even though this monitor has been at a lower price in the past, it’s well worth jumping on, as from my experience, it’s highly likely to revert back to full price soon. Other Alienware monitors are also on sale right now on Amazon, so it looks like now is a great time to go for one.
