Key features of this Alienware Aurora gaming desktop
RTX 5060 Ti graphics card
The RTX 5060 Ti is one of the best graphics cards to consider if you’re going for top-tier 1080p and high refresh rate 1440p gaming, but still want to keep costs relatively low. It’s significantly faster than the RTX 4060 Ti, thanks to features like GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores, the latter of which helps power MFG upscaling. For creatives, it’s not bad either, boasting a decent CUDA core count of 4,608 and a good amount of VRAM that can help accelerate workflows, like 3D rendering, video editing, and streaming, without completely breaking the bank.
Intel Core Ultra 7 265F processor
This middle-tier offering from the Intel Core Ultra lineup is one of the best CPUs to go for if you’re looking for more than just quality gaming performance. You’ve got 20 cores (8P and 12E), which help it handle demanding multitasking activities, like gaming while streaming, recording, or running background applications. It also has a big boost clock speed of 5.2GHz, and a large 30MB L3 cache, which allows it to push high framerates with low latency, making it a good option for gaming, but also a powerful CPU for more demanding creative workflows. RAM and storage
This build has 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which is going to be great for running open-world games smoothly, in addition to demanding creative applications that can often eat up a load of memory. You’ve also got a 1TB SSD, which is on the smaller side, but enough for a reasonably-sized gaming library, that still gives you some room for other files.
Things to consider
As you no doubt know, Alienware products are pretty expensive, with good reason, mind you, but you can find cheaper. If you’re interested in an RTX 5060 Ti, Ryzen 7 prebuild, I’d say options like this MSI gaming PC would be a good shout, and a fair bit more affordable than this Alienware option. The only slight sacrifice is that you’ll have a CPU with a lower core count, making it slightly less optimal for multitasking. That said, it’ll still be great for gaming at FHD and 1440p, so it’s all about what your primary usage is going to be. Check out our top gaming PC deals below to see what else is out there.
