Table of Contents
It’s a great time to snag this ASUS ROG Strix gaming monitor for less over on Amazon, as it’s now dropped down to just $599.00 with a limited-time deal. This is a premium gaming monitor from one of the leading brands in the space, and it packs a 360Hz refresh rate, QHD resolution, and a QD-OLED panel. Essentially, it’s a monitor that can showcase games and HDR content at their very best, but also provide outstanding gaming performance across the board, especially for high frame-rate gaming and competitive play.
On top of that, it’s loaded with premium features that aren’t always present in most QD-OLED displays. For instance, you’ve got a higher 1.5M:1 contrast ratio, very high 1000 nits peak brightness, and comprehensive burn-in protection. There’s even a USB-C port with 90W power delivery and a built-in KVM switch, both of which make this monitor extremely practical if you’re connecting both a laptop and PC to it at the same time.
ASUS ROG Strix 27” 1440P OLED Gaming Monitor
In terms of pricing, it’s up there with some of the most expensive QHD, QD-OLED gaming monitors, for sure, so you could find similar and cheaper if you shop around. That being said, this gaming monitor is one of the best you can get in this category, and well worth it if you’re looking for something for a higher-end setup, or a PC with an upper-tier RTX 50-series graphics card or similar.

What we like about this ASUS ROG Strix 27-inch QD-OLED monitor
One of the fastest OLED monitors you can get
At 360Hz and 0.03ms response time, this monitor is up there with the fastest OLEDs on the market, allowing you to game at competitive frame rates with minimal motion blur.
Very impressive contrast ratio
This comes in at 1.5M:1, whereas some standard OLEDs tend to be 1M:1. That’s a big green flag for picture quality, as it means you’re getting genuinely top-tier contrast, with incredibly deep blacks and bright highlights. Both of these will make everything look far more lifelike and cinematic.
Outstanding color
This monitor boasts 99% DCI-P3 color with Delta E<2 accuracy, which means you can use it for professional video editing and other creative work.
Burn-in protection suite for peace of mind
This is a big differentiator between premium options like this one and mid-range OLED monitors in many cases. On the physical side, it features a custom heatsink, redesigned airflow, and top vents to keep temperatures down. On the technical side, as part of its ASUS OLED Care+ suite, you’ve got everything from taskbar detection, pixel cleaning, and automatic dimming controls, which can safeguard against burn-in. You can even adjust these directly through Windows, making it super user-friendly.
