Ryzen 5 5600X deal sees price plummet by a whopping 40%
Table of Contents
The AM4 platform is still alive and kicking, even 10 years after its release, and that is apparent with AMD re-releasing the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, the processor that started Team Red’s gaming dominance. On top of that, some also argue that these processors are still valid in the current landscape, given the price of DDR5 RAM, so if you were thinking of putting a gaming PC on a budget, we recommend you check out the Ryzen 5 5600X.
This is a very energy-efficient processor that has enough punching power to handle gaming at 1440p without causing a bottleneck and perform other daily tasks. Right now, it has a $179.99 price tag on Amazon following a 40% discount, which makes it very light on the pocket. Why you should check out this deal
One of the best value processors ever
The Ryzen 5 5600X is an excellent processor that mixes value, performance, and efficiency really well. With 6 cores and 12 threads, it is perfect for everyday work such as documentation, web browsing, and more, but it can also handle photo and video editing. It is important not to compare it to the newer offerings, as obviously, they’ll have better performance but with a higher price tag as well. I have this processor in my rig as well, paired with an RTX 3070 Ti, and I run every game at 1440p maxed out settings without any lag, stuttering, or other issues.

Cost saved with cheaper RAM options and bundled cooler
A benefit of this processor is that you won’t have to invest in DDR5 RAM, which is pretty expensive as it is only compatible with DDR4. On top of that, if you’re putting together a new gaming PC, you can skip out on the CPU cooler as it comes bundled with a Wraith Stealth cooler. Since it only has a 65W TDP, it doesn’t get hot, and that is more than enough to keep it cooler. Just ensure you use a high-quality thermal paste. I’ve been using this cooler as well, and am located in a hot region, and I have never run into overheating issues.
