Save $200 on this Full HD gaming PC – an ideal option for Esports and entry-level performance
Table of Contents
For entry-level and Esports gaming, Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti 8GB is a great option. And in a cost-conscious gaming build, iBuyPower has paired it with the AMD Ryzen 7 8700F, a healthy 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The resulting Element SE Gaming Desktop usually costs $1,800, but thankfully you can save $200 and get it for $1,600 in this Amazon deal. That’s not bad at all if you want a Socket AM5 system that you can upgrade well into the future.

Why we like this iBuyPower Element SE Gaming PC
Easy Full HD gaming performance
The specs of this system, particularly the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB, make it well-powered for frame-abundant Full HD performance in Esports games and very smooth performance in modern titles. In fact, the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB may handle 1440p gaming, although in some titles the 8GB of VRAM will hamper performance, so 1440p performance should be viewed as having a few caveats.
Solid core specs for an entry-level PC
This system’s AMD Ryzen 7 8700F is an entry-level (integrated graphics-less) desktop part, with lower performance than the Ryzen 5 7600 and Ryzen 5 9600X, but higher performance than Socket AM4’s Ryzen 7 5700X. If you’re on Socket AM4 and looking for the next step, this system gets you onto AM5, with entry-level performance, a healthy 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a good-sized 1TB NVMe SSD.

Decent connectivity
iBuyPower’s Element SE offers good connectivity for accessories and key features. You get six USB 3.1 ports, allowing you to hook up extra devices like standalone mics or speakers, a Gigabit network card, and the PC is ready for wireless internet with built-in 802.11AC WiFi (WiFi 5).
What to consider before you buy
This is an entry-level Socket AM5 system, so you shouldn’t expect too much from it. While we do think it’s worth the deal price, we’re also aware that it may lack some features users may want. For example, the Ryzen 7 8700F doesn’t support PCIe Gen 5.0. That may not be an issue now, but it’s something to consider for the future. Similarly, there is no USB 3.2 Gen connectivity, and the PC doesn’t appear to offer Bluetooth. If these missing features give you pause for thought, there may be other options below worth considering.
