Why we liked this gaming laptop deal
The pairing of the Intel Core i7-13650HX and the RTX 5050 is great for a budget offering, as the GPU can handle 1080p gaming with ease, which is also the resolution of the display, while the 13650HX packs a significant enough punch to handle productive workflows with ease. However, we would still recommend not pushing this laptop to its limit, as the ceiling won’t be too high, and the performance will take a hit.

Running games at 1080p has an advantage that you can run pretty much any game with high FPS, and since this GPU should also have DLSS 4.5 and DLSS 5 later in the year, you can leverage these technologies to enhance the gaming performance. The battery of this gaming laptop has a 60Wh capacity that should last you a good while since the components are also energy-efficient.
However, if the screen brightness is high and you’re also using the laptop for intense tasks, the battery will drain more quickly. So, for those, we recommend connecting the charger. With this purchase, you’ll also get 3 months of free Xbox Game Pass, which should allow you to check its gaming performance by playing different titles.
The display also has a 100% sRGB coverage, meaning that it should be a good option for creative workflows like video editing, Photoshop, color grading, and more. Overall, we think this laptop has good value for money and if you have a strict operating limit, you should definitely check it out.
