The newly arrived RX 9070 XT has shaken up the GPU market, making good graphics performance somewhat affordable – and gaming PCs a bit more interesting again. If the new energy around these enjoyable systems has made you consider a potential upgrade, we’ve found some solid gaming PC deals for you to consider.

Of course, building a PC yourself will allow you to handpick your components but… that’s not for everyone. Plus, handily, while new GPUs and components are great, they can push the price down on excellent systems built using existing options. So if the recent buzz of affordable graphics has made you look at your trusty (dusty?) rig and decide it’s time for a change, here are the four best gaming PC deals we’ve spotted amidst AMD’s 9070 XT launch.

VTG Gaming PC Ryzen 7 9700X, Radeon RX 7800 XT 16G

1TB NVME SSD, 32GB DDR5 RAM, 850W GOLD PSU, 240MM AIO liquid cooler, B650M, Windows 11 Home, WiFi, Prebuilt Gaming PC

Available from Newegg, this VTG Gaming PC offers the power-efficient and capable Ryzen 7 9700X from AMD’s newest CPU series. It pairs it with the AMD RX 7800 XT 16GB, a card often overlooked in favor of the 7900 family but which can definitely deliver for gamers.

This system is enough for high-setting 1440p gaming, and VTG including an 850W 80-Plus Gold power supply to support high-end GPUs if you want to upgrade down the line. Cooling considerations mean the system comes with a 240mm all-in-one CPU cooler, and 7x ARGB fans (3x top, 3x bottom, 1x exhaust).

Currently priced at $1,429, with a $254 discount, this system looks a fine option for mid-range gaming, with one eye on a future upgrade path for when the time is right. Here are the key specs with our reviews of applicable components.

Skytech Azure RTX 4070 Super Gaming PC

Intel i7 14700F 2.1 GHz, RTX 4070 Super 12GB GDDR6X, 1TB NVME Gen4, 32GB DDR5 RAM RGB, 750W Gold PSU, Wi-Fi, Win 11 Home

The RTX 4070 Super is the darling of the Nvidia RTX 40-series family. Solidly priced, it can provide excellent 1440p gaming, with 4K resolutions on some titles (not the most demanding). This makes it popular with gamers, and usually the go-to mid-range graphics card for power.

Skytech’s Azure RTX 4070 Super system is available on Amazon and features Intel’s Core i7-14700F, a 14700 variant that lacks integrated graphics but also doesn’t need it with the 4070 Super installed in this system. A 20-core, 28-thread CPU it excels in single-threaded workloads and so is great for gaming. But it’s also a strong multi-tasking option, making this a flexible system.

Currently $1,905 rather than $2,100, this PC includes a 360mm AIO cooler and a 750W 80-Plus Gold PSU that will support higher spec and newer GPUs.

ABS Stratos Aqua Gaming PC AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, RTX 5070 Ti

Windows 11 Home – AMD Ryzen 7 7700X – RTX 5070 Ti – DLSS 4 – AI-Powered Performance – 32GB DDR5 6000 – 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD – SA7700X5070TI#644

One of the latest GPUs available is the Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti. In ABS’ Stratos Aqua system, the new Team Green GPU partners with the AMD Ryzen 7700X. The 7700X doesn’t make our list of the best CPUs for the RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti, but we do like the power, efficiency and value it provides.

AMD’s CPU won’t hold the RTX 5070 Ti back so you can expect the Nvidia card to deliver gaming of 1440p and do better in 4K than the RTX 4070 Ti. The 5070 Ti isn’t an easily justifiable purchase alone because of its odd price-to-performance ratio, but as part of a prebuild it makes sense if the price is right. Offset by the value-conscious Ryzen 7 7700X it makes more sense.

Noteworthy in the Stratos is the extra boost in wider specs when compared to the prior gaming PCs here. so you’ll get a 2TB NVMe drive and 32GB 6000MHz DDR5 RAM installed. The current price of this system is $2,200, which is a saving of $300 – not bad at all.

Key specs

  • CPUAMD Ryzen 7 7700X (8-core, up to 5.4 GHz)
  • GPU – Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti
  • RAM – 32GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM
  • Storage – 2TB NVMe SSD
  • Cooling – Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum V3 CPU Air Cooler, additional case fans (not stated).
  • PSU – 750W 80-Plus gold PSU

Skytech King 95 Gaming PC Desktop

Ryzen 9 9900X 4.4 GHz (5.6GHz Turbo Boost), AMD RX 7900XTX 24GB GDDR6, 32GB DDR5 RAM 6000 RGB, 850W GOLD PSU, 360mm ARGB AIO, Wi-Fi, Win 11 Home

The most powerful gaming PC here, the Skytech King 95 is available in black and white, depending on your preference. It takes the powerful and highly efficient Ryzen 9 9900X from AMD’s latest CPU series and puts it alongside the king of AMD’s last-gen RDNA3 cards – the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX.

This combination ensures smooth 4K gaming, as the 7900 XTX is a stellar option here, and the 9900X (although more power-efficient than it may need to be) is one of the top consumer CPUs currently available. This combination also makes sense, given AMD isn’t competing at the top end of the GPU market with its 9070 or 9070 XT cards, and the 7900 XTX definitely is one of the best GPUs for the Ryzen 9900X.

Available at Newegg, this system is now $2,600 ($500 off), but you’ll see the extra performance for your money with the Skytech King 95. A powerful gaming machine, this can also be directed towards content creation and comes with a spacious 4TB NVMe SSD drive as well as 32GB 6000MHz DDR 5 RAM and an 850W 80-Plus gold PSU.
