The KTC 25M2 Pro is a high-end gaming monitor designed for competitive gameplay. It features a 24.5″ fast IPS panel, a size commonly found in professional tournaments, which puts all the important gameplay components in your FOV. However, what really made it stand out was the native 360Hz refresh rate, which can be overclocked to 400Hz, meaning it is perfect for FPS gaming, where you need high frame rates for a super smooth output.
On top of that, with an FHD resolution, you should be able to hit high numbers with budget, mid-range, and obviously high-end graphics cards, making it a versatile offering for different setups. It also comes with shielding hoods that stop reflections and distractions from the sides, ensuring that you can fully focus on what is going on the screen. Besides that, it has a 126% sRGB color gamut, which is a pretty decent addition. Right now, this gaming monitor is on sale exclusively for Prime members, and they can score it for only $271.99.

What we liked about this gaming monitor
Built for competitive gaming
This gaming monitor was put together with one thought in mind: competitive gaming. When you’re competing at a higher level, you need hardware that supports you and ensures you’re not at a disadvantage. Smooth gameplay is a result of high frame rates, as the image refreshes more times per second, allowing you to see the most up-to-date information churned out from the GPU, resulting in very fluid motion. This allows you to track and engage opponents much better and react quickly to the changing battlefield. So, with a 360Hz or 400Hz (OC) refresh rate, you can rest easy knowing that as long as your GPU can handle it, the gameplay will be smooth as butter.

Shielding hood for uninterrupted concentration
A great design element of this gaming monitor is the shielding hood. Made from flocking, a highly light-absorbent material, it works to reduce reflections and light-based distractions coming from the sides. This should allow you to put 100% into the game without getting distracted by what is going on around you, your teammate’s monitor, and other sources.
High sRGB coverage
With a 126% sRGB rating, this gaming monitor should be able to produce 26% more colors beyond the standard sRGB range. What this means is that games and videos should look more saturated and vibrant, but there is a drawback, as SDR content might appear oversaturated if there isn’t a proper sRGB mode. This is a good option for gaming but doesn’t necessarily make it a great option for creative processes, as accurate colors aren’t guaranteed.
