This discounted PC is now one of the most affordable RTX 5080 prebuilds you can get at Newegg
Table of Contents
This Andromeda Insights gaming PC is $500 off at Newegg, and has been reduced to $2,299.99, which is one of the most affordable RTX 5080 prebuilds I’ve come across.
This build features 32GB of high-speed DDR5 and an Intel Core Ultra 5 250KF Plus processor, which is a solid option for gaming, creative work, and productivity.
With most RTX 5080 prebuilds hovering between $2,500 and $3,000, this deal gives you a great chance to nab one for practically the price of a higher-end RTX 5070 Ti PC, which is a big win if you’re looking for a GPU with more raw power, better workstation capabilities, and higher-end 4K gaming performance.

What we like about this Andromeda Insights AI 50 Ultra Plus V3 gaming PC
Packs a CPU that’s great for gaming and creators, without a huge price tag
This build features the recently released Intel Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, which boasts 18 cores, 18 threads, a 5.3GHz boost clock, and 30MB L3 cache. It’s a processor that brings the price of this build down much lower than your typical RTX 5080 options, but it packs a punch for gaming, multitasking, and creative workflows, making it well-suited to hybrid usage.
Features one of the best graphics cards for 4K, with outstanding workstation capabilities
The RTX 5080 isn’t just a powerhouse for 4K gaming and ray tracing; it’s also a beast for creative professionals and power users, thanks to its hefty 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM and vastly improved AI capabilities, which can be used to enhance workflows. Paired with the Intel Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, this card is going to give you everything you need to handle demanding AAA games at max settings, and make short work of tasks like video and photo editing, working in 3D, and more.
Loads of RAM make this a powerhouse for more than just gaming
With 32GB of high-speed 6000Mhz DDR5 RAM at your disposal, you’ll be able to play demanding games with minimal microstuttering, stream and run background applications without impacting gaming performance, and edit large files in applications like Blender and Premiere Pro quickly, without your system grinding to a crawl.
A smaller SSD helps keep costs down, and spend directed at performance rather than storage
Rather than paying for 2TB of storage, which you may or may not use, you’ve got a standard 1TB SSD here instead. This makes the build more affordable, and also means you’re spending your cash on other components that affect performance, which is arguably what matters most.
Premium touches give this PC an undeniably high-end look
The case itself, with its tempered glass panels, clean lines, and premium finishing, looks incredible, and inside you’ve got aRGB RAM, fans, and a 360mm AIO Liquid cooling system with digital display, too. Even though it’s one of the most affordable RTX 5080 builds out there, it still looks super high-end.
Should you go for this deal?
At its current price, it’s notably less expensive than your typical RTX 5080 prebuild, which tends to be around the $2,500 to $3,00 mark, depending largely on the choice of CPU. Intel options like Core Ultra 7 265K builds are usually at the lower-end, while Ryzen 7 9800X3D builds tend to be closer to $2,800 from my experience.
If your main objective is to grab a prebuilt RTX 5080 gaming PC for as little as possible, then this is a great deal to jump on, especially if you’re looking for something that ticks off both gaming and workstation capabilities, instead of purely a gaming option, which you’d find with an RTX 5080, Ryzen 7 9800X3D model.
