The RX 9070 XT is one of the best graphics cards to go for from a price-to-performance perspective, an dit’a a very solid pick for 1440p and 4K gaming. Loads of RAM for smoother gaming and multitasking
You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 RAM in this build, which will help reduce microstuttering in more demanding AAA games and improve multitasking, especially if you’re recording video or streaming. On the creative front, this amount of RAM will help you make edits to large files without your system grinding to a crawl, so if you’re working in 3D or editing complex videos in Premiere Pro, having 32GB is a big win.
Large SSD ideal for hefty game collections
This PC has a 2TB SSD, which is the ideal amount of storage for you’re looking to build a large gaming library, but also don’t want to constantly be managing and clearing room. With some games tipping the scales at over 100GB, if you’re mostly playing modern AAA games, this amount of storage is the best way to go.
Things to consider
As always, one of the big things to consider with an RX 9070 XT build is its main competitor for 1440p and 4K gaming, the RTX 5070 Ti. In short, RTX 5070 Ti builds are going to be superior from an overall perspective, as they have faster GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and MFG. In terms of pricing, RTX 5070 Ti, Ryzen 7 9800X3D prebuilds can be found under $2,500 in some cases. One PC that’s been standing out to me recently is this Yeyian RTX 5070 Ti, 9800X3D build, which would be a strong alternative to consider and is similarly priced at Newegg, too.
