This premium Samsung QD-OLED 4K gaming monitor is still holding fast at its record-low price on Amazon

If you’re looking for an ultra-premium gaming monitor for a high-end 4K-ready gaming PC, then this is the deal for you. I’m currently spotting a fair few top-tier monitors still at their record-low prices on Amazon, and this Samsung 32-inch Odyssey G8 certainly stands out from the crowd. It’s 23% off, and sitting at $999.99, and it hasn’t snapped back up to full price on Amazon even with Prime Day a relatively distant memory.
Here’s a quick run-through of what you’re getting. It’s QD-OLED, 4K and 240Hz, and packs some genuinely premium features, like USB-C with 96W power delivery, a glare-free panel, advanced burn-in protection, and stunning build quality and aesthetics we’ve all come to expect from the likes of Samsung. Expensive? Yes, but this monitor is one of the very best you can get, and doesn’t scale back in any area I can see. In fact, it even has a DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, which is a higher rating than even some of the best OLEDs on the market, and means that its color, contrast, and peak brightness are notably better than your typical OLED monitor.

This monitor can essentially make blacks look deep and inky, and colors look true-to-life, which makes games look far more cinematic and atmospheric. It’s a big win if you’re a fan of playing AAA games and ultra settings.

It has very high peak brightness
