If you’re looking for an RTX 5060 Ti gaming PC for a great price, then this deal should be well up your street. This Skytech Gaming Shadow 5 prebuild is going for $200 off, and is sitting at its lowest price on Amazon right now at $1,699.99.
This PC brings a lot to the table, but here are the most important things you need to know about it, if you’re short on time. It packs an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB graphics card, which is a great pick for FHD and QHD gaming, and can handle more demanding VRAM-intensive creative workloads, too. That’s paired with a Ryzen 7 9700X, which is actually a very strong gaming CPU and a good pick from a price-to-performance perspective, especially for high fps, low latency gaming at FHD and QHD. On top of that, it has 16GB of DDR5, which is decent for gaming, and more affordable, but has its own obvious limitations, and there’s a modest-sized 1TB SSD, too.
From my experience, RTX 5060 Ti 16GB gaming PCs usually hover around $1,500 in most cases, and they fall into two main camps. You either get one with an Intel i7-14700F and potentially more RAM, designed for hybrid usage, or an AM5 Ryzen 7 CPU, with a little less RAM, that’s built with cost-effective gaming performance in mind. This Skytech PC would fall into the second camp, and at its current price, it’s well worth considering.

What we like about this Skytech Shadow 5 gaming PC
RTX 5060 Ti and Ryzen 7 9700X make for a punchy gaming combo
With the RTX 5060 Ti’s 16GB of VRAM, it handles FHD and QHD gaming much better than the 8GB version, and makes for a much more future-proof choice, too. Paired with this CPU’s 5.5Ghz boost clock speed and 32MB L3 cache, it’s an excellent combo for high refresh rate gaming with low latency, which is going to be great if you’re playing CPU-bound titles like CS: Go or Valorant, for example. And while its 8 cores and 16 threads are a way off many of the mid-range Intel CPU’s core and thread counts, it’s still a decent option for streaming, multitasking, and relatively demanding creative workloads, too.
Robust cooling solution
You’ve got a 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler in this build which is great to see, as with more affordable builds, relatively speaking in this case, they can be fairly lacklustre when it comes to cooling, resulting in poorer performance and potentially more noise.
Cost-effective amount of RAM and storage
With 16GB of DDR5 and a 1TB SSD, you’ve essentially got the basics covered here, giving you enough high-speed memory to help improve gaming performance and reduce micro-stuttering, and enough storage for a decent handful of games, but without driving the overall price too high.
Things to consider
If you’re looking for something that’s going to be better for hybrid usage and multitasking, I’ve personally found that some of the Stormcraft and ABS RTX 5060 Ti 16GB prebuilds on Newegg are pretty impressive for the price. They usually have an Intel i7-14700F, which has a much higher core count than your typical Ryzen 7 processor, and is going to be superior at handling work in creative applications and streaming, but still without breaking the bank.
