This speedy 240Hz ASUS FHD gaming monitor is now just under $150 with Amazon deal — its 30-day low price
Table of Contents
If you’re on the hunt for a speedy FHD monitor that ticks all the most important boxes for fast-paced gaming at an accessible price point, then you’ll want to check out this deal. This ASUS TUF Gaming 25-inch monitor is currently at its 30-day low, down 17%. It’s currently $149.99, making it a strong pick for the price.
Standout features of this monitor that make it excellent for high FPS gaming are its 240Hz refresh rate, low 0.3ms response time, and FreeSync Premium. Together, this is an excellent combination for tear- and stutter-free gaming, with FreeSync Premium featuring the additional benefit of low framerate compensation, too. Notably, this monitor features ELMB Sync, which is a backlight strobing technology designed to improve perceived motion clarity. In short, it helps you keep track of opponents when they’re moving quickly.
On the display front, like many affordable FHD gaming monitors, it’s not trying to be a knockout HDR display. That being said, it still has excellent 99% sRGB color, which helps everything look more vibrant and less flat. Since it’s a fast IPS and not a VA, it has a slightly lower 1000:1 contrast ratio, but offers wider viewing angles.

What we like about this ASUS TUF 25-inch gaming monitor
Accessable pricing, without compromising on gaming performance
As under $150, it’s a bit of a steal considering it’s 240Hz and has features like ELMB Sync.
Its color isn’t an after-thought
Some budget-friendly monitors can have much lower sRGB color coverage, which makes games and content look pretty flat. Having 99% sRGB is great for not only gaming, but streaming, surfing the web, and even a touch of design work, too.
Ideal size to resolution ratio for picture clarity
At 25 inches, FHD resolution actually looks quite crisp and sharp, in much the same way QHD looks great on a 27-inch screen.
Things to consider before buying
If you want better contrast and brightness, I’d say a VA monitor would be your best bet if you want to keep costs relatively low. A notable level-up would be a mini-LED gaming monitor, but in my experience, FHD options are somewhat limited compared to QHD models.
